A periti (expert) at Vatican II lamented that many Council Fathers hissed at Our Lady, seeing Her as a hindrance to the Gospel. They preferred to embrace ecumenism, accept the world, and cooperate with communism (e.g., Metz Pact, Balamand Agreement, and Ostpolitik). Our Lady has provided numerous 20th-century Rosary miracles – in Portugal, Austria, Japan, Brazil, and Switzerland – when Catholics have heeded Her Message at Fatima. We will not have peace in the world until Russia is properly consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart.
